Life is weird.
So many stories are ending,
and yet, so many are beginning!
One could end their high school athletic career on the same day
another person gets engaged,
while another could hear the sustained sound of a heart monitor
the same moment a child takes their first steps.
There is no predicting it.
There is no stopping it.
There is only finding ways to love it.
Before we all know it,
we’ll blink and it will all be over.
So here’s to embracing the oddities,
for they make the change more bearable
and the new doors worth opening.
